The RealMe 2 is launched on India with a price tag of Rs.8,990 .The RealMe 1’s successor is following its path of saying in the mid budget level market. The RealMe 2 come with a tag line of “A Notch Above” which points to the design of the smartphone. It said to be flikart exclusive. The addition of fingerprint sensor & dual camera setup on the back is look promising at this price range. Even though it looks like re-branding of Oppo A5, It does have some promising power under the hood. But does this add a competition to the Redmi smartphones?

The RealMe comes with Snapdragon 450 soc which has Adreno 506 as GPU. Backed with 4230 mah of battery. The phones comes with two storage models. One packs 3 GB RAM with 32 GB ROM, And the other one pack 4 GB with 64. The RealMe 2 comes with 3 colour option – Diamond Black, Diamond Blue & Diamond Red. Comes the latest gorilla glass protection for the device. The display screen is 6.21″ (15.75 cm) with a Notch on top with Diamond cut design. The another feature is the “Colour OS ” which the UI on RealMe 2. The optimisation in the UI is improves battery life and improve displaying colour according to the available light. The rear camera comes with Dual Ai 13 mp & 2 mp cameras. The front camera is AI 8 mp camera offer good selfies.
Pricing
The 3 GB variant has a price tag of Rs. 8,990 and the 4 GB variant holds a price tag of Rs.10,990. The Diamond Red and Diamond Black will be available on September 4th on Flipkart and the Diamond Blue will be available on early October. It said there is surprise on the event o October.
A part from the processor the RealMe 2 seems to be nice deal at this price point.
