The Xiaomi Mi A2 lite is launched at the Xiaomi global launch event in Spain. The much awaited Mi A2 is also launched. A sibling of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi A2, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is supposed to be a reworked Redmi 6 pro. Phone has Qualcomm MSM8953 snapdragon 625 chipset, supports Android version 8.1 (oreo) and has Adreno 506 GPU. The Mi A2 lite is another Android One device by Xiaomi. The CPU in Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is octa-core 2.0GHz cortex-A53. The dimensions of the phone are 149.3×71.7×8.8mm and 178g weight. Internal memory options are 32/64 GB, 4GB RAM or 32GB, 3GB RAM. MicroSD with 256GB is present. Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite supports dual sim (Nano_SIM, dual stand by).
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has a non-removable Li-po 4000mah battery with charging 5V/2A 10W. The size of the phone is 5.84 inches with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and 1080×2280 pixels resolution. Since multitouch is also present. The technology used are GSM/CDMA/HSPA/LTE and provide a speed of HSPA 42.2/5.76 Mbps, LTE-A(2CA) cat6 300/50 Mbps. Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite supports 2G, 3G and 4G bands along with GPRS and EDGE. 2G bands are GSM 850/900/1800/1900-SIM 1 & SIM 2. Similarly 3G bands are HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100.Finally 4G bands are LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900).

Primary camera has dual 12MP (f/2.2, PDAF)+5MP (f/2.2, depth sensor), gyro-EIS and LED flash. Similarly secondary camera has 5MP, 1080P and HDR. Video resolution is 1080P@30fps. Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR and panorama are other features of camera.

Finally phone is available in black, blue, gold, rose gold and red colours and price is about EUR 179 (roughly Rs. 14,400) for the 3 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage variant and EUR 229 (roughly Rs. 18,400) for the 4 GB variant. Since the most obvious way in which the Nokia X5 and the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite are alike is the design, including the display.
