    Samsung W2019 Clamshell Launched with Dual AMOLED Display

    The tech giant Samsung launched its latest clamshell Android smartphone Samsung W2019 with a dual AMOLED display and high-end specifications. It’s the procedure to last years Samsung W2018. But this time there is much improvement in specifications and features. Even though Samsung unveiled its foldable smartphone with dual display a few days ago, this is really surprising.  Samsung W2019 is the latest addition to Samsungs W-series editions.

    The Samsung W2019 has a flipping and dual AMOLED display. Mainly it looks much premium. Talking about its premium design, it comes with premium materials, including anodised, diamond-cut aluminium and glass. The brushed finish makes it more stylish. Anyway, the fingerprint sensor is on the side. Additionally, there is a compact physical T9 keypad to enable one-handed control.

    Specifications

    Talking about the specifications, it’s certainly a flagship that has high-end specifications. The Samsung W2019 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Soc packed with 6 GB of RAM. The phone comes in two storage variants, 128 GB variant and 256 GB variant. And in both variants, users can add microSD card for more storage capacity if they want to. It packs a 3070mAh battery, which claims to deliver up to 280 hours of standby time on a single charge. The Phone has two 4.2-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display of resolution of1080x1920 pixels with an aspect ratio of  16:9. The dimensions are 132.9 x 63.4 x 17.3mm and weigh 257 grams.

    Talking about the camera it has a rear 12-megapixel primary sensor with a dual aperture support of  f/1.5-2.4 and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with a telephoto lens for 2x optical zoom. And a selfie shooter of 8-megapixel. It does show some similarity to the S9+ ‘s camera.

    The phone comes with the connectivity options, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, ANT+, NFC, and USB Type-C. And sensors like accelerometer, fingerprint sensor, ambient light sensor, barometric pressure sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor, an iris sensor, and a proximity sensor. It does have almost all the sensors you demand in a smartphone.

    Pricing

    Since there is no announcement on pricing, it’s still not clear. But its expected to be priced around $1770 (approx Rs 1,29,000).
